U.S. sailors in the making. The U.S.
U.S. sailors in the making. The U.S. Naval Training Station at San Diego, Cal., is one of the Navy's most important personnel reservoirs. In a thorough 12-week training course recruits are prepared for service in the Navy. The beautifully situated training station is the only one on the Pacific Coast and may become of crucial importance in a national emergency. Recruits drawn up in formations during a parade on the Paul Jones Court. In the foreground cadets off duty for the moment watch their comrades going through their paces.
