War is over, killing goes on. Running away from the fire they built are boys of from 7 to 11 years. They have shells and grenades in their pockets. When one of them falls, a grenade may go off, as has happened numberless times. A fire, laid by playing boys in a German underground munitions dump on the North Sea coast caused an explosion which rocked the city of The Hague, broke thousands of window panes and generally played havoc in a large quarter of the city. Burning projectiles flying about made it very difficult to stop the fire, which burned for two and a half days. No one was killed this time.
