An end view of the wooden container protecting the Rembrandt painting 'Nightwatch'. Covered by flannel and oil paper, the picture is wound on a roller resting on wooden stands at each end of the container. A black tarpaulin covered the entire casing during the canal voyage to Amsterdam. Het schip heette ' Van God gegeven'
