' Belgium. On 9 Sept., anniversary of the liberation of Blankenberghe by the 12th Manitoba Dragoons, a plaque was unveiled in the newly named `Manitoba Plein` -- a square in the centre of the town. Photo shows Brig. J.V. Allard, DSO and Bar, of Three Rivers, Quebec, who represented the GOC at the ceremony. Photo shows Brig. Allard with the Burgemaster of the Town. O.C. the Unit, Lt.Col. P.C.R. Black, Vancouver Island, British Columbia, was present also. '
