German officers face trial after plot against Hitler. Colonel General Hoeppner, wearing civilian clothes and without even a jacket, faces trial before the "People's Court" in Germany for the part he played in the alleged plot to assassinate Hitler and seize power July 20, 1944. Later, with other German officers who where also tried by the same court, he was sentenced to death and hung. This picture was received in London by radio.
