Hans Frank admits guilt at Nuremberg trials. Hans Frank, 46-years-old, former Nazi governor-general of Poland, is shown reading in his cell in the prison adjoining the Palace of Justice at Nuremberg, where he is being tried before the International Tribunal. During his cross-examination april 18, 1946, Frank became the first of the Nuremberg trial defendants to cenfess his guilt. Since his arrest he has become a Roman Cotholoc. He said: Now that i have gained an insight into what horrible crimes haven been commited I feel a terrible sense of guilty within me. A thousand years will pass and the guilt of German will not be erased. I therefore say I am guilty of the extermination of the Jews.
