American Military Government in Germany. Civilians of Bayreuth are given copies of the Bayrischer Tag, weekly newspaper published in a nearby town under supervision of Military Government authorities. Beside news of world events, the paper carries proclamations, laws, ordinances, notices and other regulations. News-starved civilians wait fo hours in front ao the Military Gorvernment building for the paper. Plans call for restablishment of a daily newspaper in Bayreuth under guidance of the Information Control Division of the occupying forces. The newspaper will be licesed to publish so long as it does not expound ideologies injurous to the interests of the occupying force and the government.
