Aerial view of Poznan before attact. This aerial view shows the Focke-Wulf 190 fuselage and parts plant at the end of the marshalling yards in Poznan, Poland, as it looked to crews of 8th U.S. Air Force bombers as they went in to attack, Eastern Synday, April 9, 1944. Hits were registered on one of the three largest building and the marshalling yards. Poznan was one of the longest trips made by the 8th Air Force but was not a record mission.
