U.S. congressmen visit Normandy beachhead. Members of the Military Affairs Committee of the U.s. House of Representatives are greeted by Colonel Caffey, of the Normandy Base Section of the European Theater of Operations, upon their arrival at the Cherbourg airport. They are on their way to visit "Utah Beach", where U.S. troops of the Allied Expeditionary Force landed on the Normandy coast of France "D-Day" (June 6, 1944).
