Exchange of prisoners in France. Andrew C. Hodges, an American Red Cross representative, discusses the details of the exchange with a group of German officers as 19 American, 30 French and three British prisoners-of-war were returned to the American lines in exchange for 54 German prisoners-of-war. The mutual repatriation was effected near Pernic in the St. Nazaire sector of France.
