Maryse Grandjean, of St. dizier, France, is the sweet little French girl, whose life was saved by U.S. Army penicillin, released by Birg.Gen. C.O. Trasher, CG, Oi... intermediate Section, after he was informed of the .... critical condition, while attending a football game. 400,000 units of the "miracle" drug were rushed to the girl, strickne with Septicemia, by Major George Sollier, executive officer of the French liaison section of Oise Base. Maryse is shown here with Dr. Reny, head of the clinic where she is a patient. The girl is now doing fine.
