Known as Lo Struthof, the camp for forced laborers had its own gas chamber and crematorium and was surrounded by electric wire that killed upon contact. According to Frenchmen living nearby, Lo Struthof contained thousands of prisoners who repaired airplane engines, hundreds of which were abandoned when the Nazis flod, taking the slaved with tehm, in the path of the Allied Siexth Army Group.
