U.S. troops visit Lourdes shrine. American soldiers, among the first to take the French Government-sponsored tour of the Toulouse and Lourdes areas, view the interior of the Basilica at Lourdes, world-famous religious shrine in France. On the specially arranged tours, the French Government makes available to U.S. soldiers on leave, free transportation, hotel accomodations and guides. The American Army provides only the food for the trips.
