Pacific War exhibit opens in Paris. Studying a relief map of the Pacific at the documentary exhibition, "The War against Japan", which opened on the Champs Elysees in Paris, July 20, 1945, are (from left to right): Chinese Ambassador Tsien-Tai; British Ambassador, Duff Cooper and U.S. Ambassador, Jefferson Caffery, who attended the opening.The exhibit was produced by the U.S. Information Service to acquaint the French public with the vast scale and importance of the campaigns in the Pacific.
