Bomb damage in London: scene of a V2 incident in East Ham. The scene of a rocket (V2) incident at East Ham, London, in the Priory Road - Seymour Road area. The rocket fell in January 1945: this picture was taken in April 1945. Casualties were: 16 killed, 27 seriously and 69 slightly wounded. Damage: 5 houses completely demolished, 16 partly demolished, 59 seriously damaged, 2,000 damaged. Note the utility houses which have since been created in the area. (Priory Road is shown in the foreground, running left to right; at right angles to it, at right of the picture, is Seymour Road).
