U.S. Made vehicle for Alllied forces proves stability. Almost standing on end as it climbs over a mound, a U.S.-built Üniversal Carrier', designed to carry Allied infantry machine gun and mortar crews into action, demonstrates its flexibility and stability. This tracked, armored vehicle can be equipped with two Bren guns, two rifles, and two sub-machine guns. It also has a rack for a .50-calibre armor-piercing rifle, and a platform to mount a two-inch mortar. Built with low silhouette to escape enemy bullets, this American-made carrier is used by British forces on many fronts, and contributes to the overwhelming superiority of the Allies'striking power.
