U.S. Army centres in England rehabilitate wounded.
U.S. Army centres in England rehabilitate wounded. Paratroopers who were wounded during the initial Allied landings in France aim for the bull's eye with bow and arrow at a rehabilitation center in England established by the U.S. Army to prepare men for battle again. Wounded from France and Italy are sent to these centers directly from hospitals. They are taught forms of exercise which will strengthen weakened muscles and are also given refresher courses on modern warfare. Archery helps to keep a paratrooper's nerves and eyes keen for actual combat.
