U.S. Naval Academy Midschipmen Parade. Midshipmen of the U.S. Naval Academy parade for visitors attending commencement week exercises at Annapolis in the U.S. Atlantic Coast State of Maryland. The week was climaxet on June 7, 1944, with the commissioning of 913 academy graduates as ensings in the U.S. Navy or second lieutenants in the U.S. Marine Corps.
