In 1917 Finland has got acknowledged her independance by Russia by means of a threaty dated of Dec. 18th of the same year which reads in transpation as follows: Ïn response to the proposal of Finlands administration that the Republic of Finland is to be recognized, the Sovjet of People's Commissionars fully acknowledging the principle of all nations having the right of self-determination, resolves to present before the Executive Central Committee: a) recognition of the souvereign independance of the Republic of Finland, and b) together with Finlands Administration the forming of committee composed of representatives of both parties to settle such practical questions as result through Finlands separation from Russia. Undersigned: V. Uljanov (Isnin), - L. Tortski, - G. Petrovski, - J. Stalin, - I. Schteinberg, - V. Koremin, - A. Schmitd and Vlad. Bonts-Brujevitch. "Note that it has been signed a.o. of the same Mr. Stalin who to-day directs requests against Finland which contradict the above undersigned treaty and which interfere with Finlands integrity.
