Chowline in Russia. Red Army girls and civilians serve U.S. soldiers at mess in Soviet Russia, where the U.S. Strategic and Tactical Air Forces now have bases for operations, "Shuttle"or otherwise, against the eastern portion of German-dominated Europe. Establishment of U.S. bases on Soviet territory, which arose from the decisions of the Moscow and Teheran Conferences, increases the scope of shuttle bombing of Nazi Europe. Areas which have been practically outside the range of Allied bombers based in Italy, North Africa and Britain can now be struck with full loads of bombs, including the places to which the Germans evacuated many of their industries and plants.
