Watchdogs of the Aleutians. The first trained dogs to be sent on active duty with the U.S. Army now help guard the snow covered fog bound shores of Alaska and the Aleutian Islands. These dogs, shown with their soldier masters have been taught to seize and disarm any Japanese soldier who attempts to steal up on this advanced U.S. base in the Aleutians.
