The Commander in chief of the Army, Colonel General von Brauchitsch, visiting the West Wall workers. The Commander in chief, Colonel General von Brauchitsch, visited the West Wall workmen, accompagnied by the General Inspector Dr. Todt. During his speech, where he spoke about the special merits of the West Wall workmen for the construction of that powerful protection wall, he thanked them at same time in the name of the whole German Army. Afterwards the Commander in chief decorated a great number of them with the West Wall Medal, confered them by the Führer.
