Men active in the German movements in Scandinavia. Admiral Rolf Carls (right) talking with some of the men under his command during the German naval action in Scandinavia. Admiral Carls is aged 45. During the World War he served on various battleships and was finally commander of the submarine "U 124". It was Admiral Carls who commanded the "Admiral Scheer" in Spanish waters 1937. During the present German movements Admiral Carls commanded the German units together with General Admiral Alfred Saalwächter.
