U.S. 'Führer' nearly comes to blows during Washington inquiry. Fritz Kuhn, leader of the German-American Bund, the American Nazi organisation, emphatically voicing his views a few seconds before almost coming to blows with Representative Joe Starnes of Alabama, during his questioning at the Dies Committee hearing on un-American activities at Washington (District of Columbia). Starnes rushed at Kuhn when the Bund leader hurled the world 'lie' at a question. Capitol policemen came between the two men to avert blows.
