Ribbentrop left Berlin on Wednesday 27.9. by plane for Moscow, invited by the Government of the U.R.S.S. in order to settle with it the political questions resulting from the finished war in Poland. A short time before his departure for Moscow; the German Minister of Foreign Affairs v. Ribbentrop is taking leave of the U.R.S.S. Mandatory in Berlin, commanding general Maxim Purkajew.
