Luchtfotografie - Fortress(?) Aircraft Attacks Rotterdam Docks in Daylight. Picture shows: (1) Direct hit on workshops, tearing a large hole in the roof and showing considerable blast damage. (2) Small shed destroyed by a direct hit; adjoining shed shows blast damage. (3) Crater in the roadway against the side of a large workshop; blast damage to building. (4) Direct hit on the dockside, damaging the dock wall. The liner Noordam (?) berthed alongside has been slightly moved probably to allow access to the damaged area. The vessel shows the effect of blast amidships and is listing slichtly to port. (5) Connedting platform between quay and floating docks destroyed. The temporary pontoon bridge has replaced it. (6) A vessel 250' in lentgh, believed to be a minelayer, has turned over on her side as the result of a direct hit. (7) Excavation in the roadway, from bomb burst.
