U.S. Youth wins glory. Lieutenant C.F. Stehlin, 20-year old American, is a member of the Free French Air Force. Son of a Colonel Stehliln, famed American who was a member of France's Lafayette Squadron in the first World War, young Stehlin served with the American Field Ambulance Service until the collapse of France. In this capacity, while only 18 years old, he was awarded the French Croix de Guerre for heroism and gallantry under fire.
