British Airborne troops of the famous 6th Airborne Division, carried in a glider train which stretched over 500 miles, landed east of the Rhine in wooded country, north-west pf Wesel. This picture, taken on March 25, shows the scenes the gliders landed and the troops rushed at once into action.
