On the occasion of princess Juliana's birthday on april 30th '46, a parade of allied troops was held in front of the Palace at Koningsplein Noord, Batavia. Dutch troops, including members of the women services, British and Britisch-Indian detachments were watched by thousands of spectators of all nationalities and civil and military representatives of the Dutch and foreign governments.
