Anne Frank in the world 1929–1945 : teacher's guide
"This guide has been prepared to assist teachers in planning for their students' visit to the exhibit Anne Frank in the World . The first two activities, 'What I know, what I learned, what I want to know more about' and 'Learning from photographs' deal most directly with learning from the exhibit by exploring students' prior knowledge and providing students with strategies for viewing documentary photographs. The activities 'Discriminatory Laws,' 'Hiding: The Secret Annex,' and '[Helpers] and Rescuers,' explore three themes, derived from both the exhibit and the diary: discrimination, hiding and rescuers... The 'Historical Context' and 'Create a Timeline' activities encourage senior students to delve more deeply into the history of the Holocaust, the events of the Second World War and their impact on children... 'It Isn't All Over Yet' addresses contemporary issues of racism, the resurgence of white supremacist and Neo-Nazi groups and the responsibility of students and society in responding to hate speech and hate groups." — Page 1
