The diary of Mary Berg (b. 1924), an American citizen, describing life in the Warsaw ghetto from October 1939 until January 1943 when she was transferred to the camp in Vittel, France, and later liberated together with other American nationals in exchange for German nationals. Describes privations and persecutions in the ghetto, and second-hand reports on resistance and the ghetto's liquidation.
