Pp. 11-38 (a lecture delivered in Berlin in October 1987) discuss Nazi identification of Bolshevism with Jews, and examine Nazi demographic policy for the USSR and its acceptance by SS and military commanders who were responsible for mass shootings. Pp. 39-241 contain documents, most of them not published previously, including speeches of Nazi leaders on "Jewish Bolshevism, " extracts on the subject from Goebbels' diaries, papers and reports of military and civil officials in the occupied USSR on the extermination of Jews, as well as the testimony of such officials at war crimes trials.
