Describes the roundup and deportation to concentration camps of 267 Italian citizens, members of the resistance, and Jews (38% of the total), between 1943-45, in the northern region of Alessandria, under the rule of the Italian Social Republic. Pp. 66-72 and 157-160 deal with the arrest and deportation of 101 local Jews by the SS and Italian police. Pp. 76-125 present a list of all of the deportees, with biographical data and the circumstances of their deportation and death.
