The fonds also contains documentation of important personalities connected with Havlíčkův Brod. Information on the history of Jews can be found in documents from World War I - slum colony, refugees - and in documents from World War II - decrees against Jews. The fonds contains small materials on other historical topics, such as obituaries (ing. Kraus, Josef Pachner) or records of exhibitions with Jewish themes. The beginning of the town museum is considered to be the year 1874, when a museum association was established. A collection-building activity was started, which was deepened during an ethnographic exhibition. At the turn of the 20th century, the museum focused on collecting regional monuments and monuments associated with the name of Karel Havlíček Borovský. At the same time, it developed research activities concerning the history of the town and documentation of events in the town and its surroundings. After 1945, its efforts were followed by the district archives in Havlíčkův Brod, which took over part of the museum material.
