Náboženská společnost unitářů československých

accessible On the initiative of Norbert Fabian Čapek, the Free Brotherhood organization was founded in 1922 which was transformed, in 1923, into the Society of Free Brotherhood under the Act on Associations. Its goal was to support all religious, educational, social and promotional efforts to organize human relations on the basis of freedom and brotherhood. The Unitarians were eventually recognized by the Czechoslovak state and registered in 1930 as the Religious Society of Czechoslovak Unitarians. During the Nazi occupation the Society was dissolved in 1943, but in 1945 it was restored again. The fonds contains archival materials concerning the religious and cultural history of Czechoslovakia in particular. It also contains sources for Jewish history, namely the correspondence (probably from the World War II) with the Ministry of Education and the Provincial Office in Prague on Jewish employees and the legal status of Jews (Inv. No. 57). There are no finding aids. http://katalog.ahmp.cz/pragapublica/NavigBean.action?entity=%28%5En%29%28%28%28localArchiv%2C%5En%2Chot_%29%28unidata%29%29%28621680%29%29
