Jewish Religious Community of Čáslav
Jews are recorded as living in Čáslav in the 14th century. The Jewish settlement was disbanded in the 15th century. A Jewish community was established there in the second half of the 19th century. It was not re-established after the Second World War. This fonds is fragmentary and consists of meeting minutes (maintained until 1940), a banns registry (1892–1937), a cash book, and fragments of documents relating to the Jewish Women's Charity Association, including its statutes (1922). Dolista K. – Heřman, J., Židovská náboženská obec Čáslav 1872 – 1940, Prozatímní inventární seznam, 1971, 1 s., ev. č. 14. The fonds is accessible with no restriction.
