Ferdinand Schwarz: papers re emigration to England
Ferdinand Schwarz was a resident of Frankfurt am Main. He applied to work for a company called J. Wolfin in England. It is interesting to note that the recipient of the letters from Germany asking for assistance was Ella Courts. It appears that Max Schwarz, the subject's father, was a friend of the Courts' family (744/1) Open These papers document, in part, the process of emigration from Germany to England in 1939. The original letters are accompanied by typescript transcriptions and translations.
