Criminels de guerre
Currently there is a basic inventory and a card file inventory. A detailed digital inventory is currently (February 2015) in preparation and will be published on the archives website finding aid. not given in the finding aid Restricted - requires authorization The fonds War criminals (Criminels de guerre) is divided into different subfonds. These are: - German Civil Administration (Administration civile allemande) - Commissions - Court for war crimes (Cour des crimes de guerre) - Deportation of Jews (Déportation des juifs) - Various - Extraditions - Trial of war criminals (Jugement des criminels de guerre) - German court (Justice allemande) - Offensive «von Rundstedt» - National Office for Research of War Crimes (Office national pour la Recherche des crimes de guerre) - German police (Police allemande) - trial (Procès) - Military war court (Tribunal de guerre militaire) - International Military Tribunal in Nuremberg (Tribunal militaire international de Nuremberg) - accused (Inculpés). The most holocaust relevant court files are the files: CdH-012 against Hans Balzer, CdG-014 against Franz Bernard, CdG-019 against Johann Bünder, CdG-020 against René Conter in the subfonds "Accused" (Inculpés) witch all in the context of Aryanisation of Jewish property. A strong Holocaust connection has the trail CdG-0143 agaist Joseph Ackermann, Wilhelm Brauckmann and Ernst Neugebauer with the testimony of Dr. Robert Serebrenik, chief Rabbi of Luxembourg.
