1945 List of War Damages of the Jews from Štip
The war damages that the German and Bulgarian occupiers caused over the Jews in Štip, are regarded as shared damages caused by the Germany and Bulgaria, because they jointly participated in the robbery and destruction of the Jewish property, until the physical elimination of the Jews in Štip in 1943 in Treblinka. According to the letter of the Jewish Community in Skopje, number 997/1 of December 31st, 1945, the Commission of the Government of Macedonia was informed that the total damage to the Jews is estimated to 2.000.000 dinars, according to the number of destroyed houses, goods and cash, damaged and demolished buildings, destroyed and robbed houses, destroyed national property, lost income for the period of 4 years, as well as the seized jewelry and other values. However, in this total damage, the values of the humans deprived from their life are not included. After the war, in order to determine the material damages and human casualties caused by the German and Bulgarian occupiers of Macedonia in the period from April 6th, 1941 to December 30th, 1945, the Commissions for the assessment of damages were set up for the peoples of the former Yugoslav region. The following Commissions were formed for the disposition of material damages for Šhtip and the Štip district (including the municipalities: Radanje, Lakavica, Gorni Blavan and Dragoevo): State Commission for War Damage by the Presidency of the Government of Yugoslavia, the Commission of the Presidency of the Government of Macedonia, Commission for military damage in the district areas, cities, municipalities and villages. The establishment and operation of the Commissions was regulated by the Decree No. 203/1, adopted by the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia on April 25th, 1945.
