The collection's contents are described in one inventory arranged geographically and thematically. It consists of documents from Austria (67 files), Belgium (1), Britain (1), Czechoslovakia (1), France (3), Germany (87), Latvia (1), Poland (3) Yugoslavia (1), various countries of Europe, Asia and Africa (40), Zionist organizations (8), Jewish emigration (4), Jewish political organizations (8), societies against antisemitism (4), studies of Jewish religion, philosophy and culture (23), and miscellaneous materials. Among the materials of Austrian Jewish organizations, it holds the charters of the Jewish Choral Society of Graz, the Judäa Union of Jewish Students in Austria, and the Austrian Grand Lodge of B'nai B'rith; and the platform of the New Zionist Organization (Vienna, 1938). Other documents from these organizations are also contained in the collection: minutes of meetings of the Jewish Choral Society of Graz (1926-38), with the membership register and membership cards of this organization; correspondence of the Jewish Choral Society of Graz with the Graz police department on organizational issues, and the organization's cashbooks (1925-38); statistical reports on the activities of the Austrian Grand Lodge of B'nai B'rith (1935-38) and lists of its members; correspondence of the Jewish Academic Union of Technicians in Vienna with the executive committee of the Judaa Union of Jewish Students in Austria on sending representatives to congresses of the World Union of Jewish Students, on holding conferences of Zionist students in London, and on organizing technical courses for Jewish students (1919-26). The collection contains extensive correspondence by the Union of Austrian Jews, with the Fatherland's Front of Austria, the Zionist Club, the Vienna police department, the New Zionist Organization (the Revisionist Zionists), the editorial offices of periodicals, members of the organizing committee of the New Zionist Organization congress (1935), the "Mifkada Eliona" in Tel Aviv on cooperation (1937), and with the Graz Zionist organization and the Palestine Bureau agency on insuring the property of Jewish immigrants to Palestine (1932-37). Also included is the cashbook of the New Zionist Organization (1937-38). The collection also contains documents, mainly correspondence, of various other Austrian Jewish organizations. There is correspondence by Austrian Hechalutz groups with other Zionist organizations and Jewish communities on the resettlement of Austrian Jews in Palestine, on charitable activities in Palestine during 1919-37, and correspondence with regard to publishing an appeal to combine the efforts of all Jewish organizations in Austria (1934-35). The collection likewise contains the cashbooks of the Austrian Hechalutz movement (1937-38). There is correspondence of the Union of Jewish Youth Hashomer Hatzair with the Jewish Sports Club "Hakoah" in Graz (1936-37). There are reports on the activities of Agudath Israel in Austria (1932-38) and the cashbook of the Vienna Chevra Kadisha (1929-38). Nazi-Looted Jewish Archives in Moscow.
