In some files, there are documents on the persecution and mass destruction of the Jewish population during the German-Romanian occupation, photocopies of documents on the preparations for resettlement of Jews into ghettos, announcements of the German and Romanian occupation authorities on taxes and indemnities imposed on the Jewish population of cities of Vinnytsia, Zhmerynka, Haysyn, Mogiliv-Podilsky, a photo of the exhumation of the killed Jewish population of Khmilnyk [inventory 1, file 141, pp. 1, 12, 19, 32]. Copies of chronological informations on the Nazi occupation of locations of Vinnytsia region and return of the Soviet Army are available. This group of documents contains information on the shooting of the Jewish population in 1941-1943 in the cities of Vinnitsa, Khmilnyk, Lityn and others [inv. 1, files 148, 174, pp. 1-29]. There are copies and extracts from documents on the occupation regime in Vinnytsia region, including persecution and extermination of the Jewish population, Soviet activists, partisans and underground members [file 148, pp. 19, 32, 40]. Participation of Jews in the Soviet underground and guerrilla movement is reflected in copies of references, notes, awards documents; including the information about fight activities of a separate Jewish company of the 2nd Partisan Formation after I. Stalin [inv. 1, files 142, 148].
