German civilians tour Buchenwald; US artillery, tanks in action

At Buchenwald, survivors sit crouched around a fire, looking at the camera. German civilians file past after being taken through barracks. A flatbed of naked corpses situated in front of a building. U.S. infantry run from a tank that is firing into the forest. LS of a building behind trees. Plumes of smoke rising from the building, small fire. A military plane flies through the sky, poised for strafing. Trees are on fire. SLATE, "Madsen 04/13/45" American soldiers stand around a military vehicle as one drives away. SLATE: "Killorin 04/10/45" Men stand on top of two tanks. U.S. military personnel order German prisoners to rise. Shooting tank in a field. Dropping bombs on a Nazi building. Pan of a P-47 dive bombing town. Planes take off. CUs of various angles of a plane. Men clean, repair, and paint the planes. Soldiers stand in a group on an airstrip.
