It now appears to be early spring, and the camera pans across a semi-flooded landscape: riverbeds rushing from melting snow, the trunks of trees covered with water, Russian children walking across a makeshift bridge over a small creek, waterlogged fields. A pair of empty boots is stuck in the mud. The cameraman seems to be trying to document the end of winter and the coming of spring in the form of water and mud.
