General Charles de Gaulle deplanes and greets Colonel Philippe Leclerc in Fort-Lamy, Chad. Exterior view of men leaving the governor's house. Wounded men are removed on stretchers from a plane and put into an ambulance. These men were probably wounded in the Battle of Kufra in Libya, which took place from January to March 1941. Dark shots of various military and other activities along the banks of the Chari river.
