Fialkov family collection

Copyright Holder: Center for the Studies of History and Culture of East European Jewry (Judaica Center) of the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy in Kyiv, Ukraine Contains photocopies of official documents and letters of commendation from the Soviet government, as well as personal letters, telegrams, and postcards from the Fialkov family documenting the evacuation of Kiev. Included are items pertaining to Iakov Anatolevich Fialkov and Maria Isaakovna Fialkova, who were spouses and professors at the Ukrainian Academy of Sciences, and their sons Anatol Iakovlevich Fialkov and Iurii Iakovlevich Fialkov. Also included are letters from Maria’s father, Isaak Kantor, and letters to Lena Tulchinsky, a childhood friend of Iurii.
