Julien D. Saks collection
Julien D. Saks was a Chemical Warfare Officer for the 12th Armored Division which captured eleven concentration camps satellite to the Dachau concentration camp. He was present at the liberation of Landsberg concentration camp. Contains a captioned replica of a portrait painted by Lucy-Jane W. Saks's husband, Julien D. Saks; testimonials from various publications relating to the death of Lucy-Jane W. Saks' husband and his participation in the liberation of a Kaufering group camp (perhaps Landsberg), a subcamp of Dachau; and five slides.
