Kurt Rosenthal papers
Kurt Rosenthal worked as a banker in Berlin, Germany. In 1933, he left Berlin and moved to France. Rosenthal was interned in Les Milles and Gurs internment camps in France as an “enemy alien.” His son is Robert Ronald. The Kurt Rosenthal papers consists of letters addressed to Kurt Rosenthal and his sisters, dated 1940-1941. Some of the letters were written while Kurt Rosenthal was imprisoned in Les Milles and Gurs internment camps in France as an “enemy alien.” The letter dated November 8, 1940 informs about the arrival of Jews in Gurs internment camp from Baden.
