Isabella Leitner letters relating to searches for Holocaust survivors
Isabella Leitner (b. 1921) was born in Kisvárda, Hungary and survived the Auschwitz concentration camp. She immigrated to the U.S. in 1945 and settled in New York City. Consists of eight letters from Holocaust survivors to Isabella Leitner and her sisters in 1945. The letters presumably concern attempts by survivors to locate members of their families after the Holocaust.
