Anna Gerut (née Chana Dina Leah Warszawski; Łódź, Poland, 15 May 1922- ) immigrated to the United States in 1950. Describes her childhood in Poland; her imprisonment in the ghetto in Łódź, Poland; her incarceration in Auschwitz; the fate of her family; her reunion with her sister in Poland; their escape to the American Zone of Occupation of Germany; the Feldafing displaced persons camp; and their emigration to the United States in 1950.
