The postwar letters express happiness that Marthé’s immediate family [husband Silvio and children Claude and Nicole] are safe, unknown information about Marthé’s parents, Rosa and Francois Kauffman as well as other friends and family. In English and French. Rosa and Francois were deported to Auschwitz where they are presumed to have died.
